Is the end of Covid near?

Over the past 6 weeks, the number of new COVID cases in the U.S. has dropped 12% each day from 252,000 new cases on January 9th to yesterday's total of 71,000. At this rate, here is how the numbers will continue to drop:

End of this month: 20,000 new daily U.S. cases

Mid-March: 3,000 new daily U.S. cases

End Of March: 400 new daily cases

Mid-April: end of COVID in the U.S.

Saw someone post this and needed to share. Although this is impossible to predict, data is data. It's showing us the previous 6 weeks and the trajectory the country is on. The fact is that more and more people are being vaccinated daily and everyone who wants to get vaccinated will be in the next few months.

Regardless, I'm optimistic. The glass is half full. Let's get to this post covid realty ASAP. We're close!

What are your thoughts?
